Tonight will be the last night my body is filled with life. Wish me luck.

No it won’t. Because you’re gonna go to sleep tonight and wake up in the morning. You’re gonna get through tomorrow and all the days after that. You’re gonna meet new people, learn new things, discover new places, read more books, listen to more music, find new talents and so on. You’re gonna graduate high school if you haven’t already, and then go to college, find yourself, make new friends, and make a career choice. You’re going to meet someone and fall in love. You’ll marry this person, have children, raise a family. You’ll watch your kids go to college and get married. And after you have lived your life completely, THEN you will grow old and that is when you will pass. Naturally. Please don’t give up. I know things are extremely hard right now, but they will get better. These negative thoughts and feelings will fade and be replaced with pure joy and absolutely happiness. You will be happy, healthy, and positive. I promise. You have made it this far and you are so strong. You’ve gotten through heartache, fights, nights full of tears, losing friends, and all this pain. And guess what? You’re still here. If that’s not something to be proud of, I don’t know what is. So please stay. Stay for all the people that love you and care about you. Your friends. And family. Your future spouse. But most importantly, stay for yourself and the life you have. There’s so much to look forward to and experience and you need to be here to see it. Now what I want you to do is take a deep breathe, wrap your arms around you because you deserve a hug, and tell someone what’s going on. I love you so much and I know you will get through this. Please do not give up.

Stay. Breathe. Live.
